Niche This, Niche That…

Everywhere you look online these days people are telling you that you need to find a "niche" in order to succeed on the Internet. We are getting tired of these fallacies, and we are going to set the record straight for you! You DO NOT need a niche to succeed. In fact, there is opportunity for success within every single industry online, and even the most competitive industries like "dieting" and "making-money" can still be highly profitable.

A common misunderstanding is that you can find a niche and it will be easy to promote and easy to sell. This is not the case. Regardless of whether or not you are promoting within a niche market, it comes down to marketing and understanding who you consumers really are. If you are promoting the wrong product to the wrong person, it does not matter what sort of niche that you have found.

Instead of looking for niches, we suggest that you search for hot markets. A hot market is one in which consumers are highly interested in and their buying life cycle seems to be very short. Understand these people and determine what is motivating them to buy. If you can fill in these blanks then you are going to make the sales process that much easier, and that means more sales for you!


You can sell anything online and if you really sit down and spend the time to understand your audience, it is almost impossible NOT to succeed. Quit looking for the next greatest "niche", because a niche is not the most important aspect of Internet marketing. MARKETING IS!
