There have recently been some changes to the Google Adwords system and interface that we would like to bring to your attention. Unlike the most recent Google SLAP, these changes are very beneficial to you as an advertiser.
Quality Score Released

You can now view your Quality Score within your account, and determine what your minimum CPC is for all of your keywords. Although the QS ranking is fairly broad (poor, OK, great), it will give you a good idea of how effective your ad groups are and will give you insight into what you need to change to optimize your campaigns. It is also very insightful to know your minimum CPC so you can get the best bang for your buck.
To check this out within your Adwords account, you need to go into one of your ad groups, and select the "customize columns" link. You will then see a selection for Quality Score. After adding this, you will see a new "Quality Score" column with all the details.
Website Optimizer

This is quite a neat little tool that Google is soon to release to the public. It allows Adwords advertisers to perform optimization tests on their websites to determine how well your pages are currently converting, and how to improve. This will allow advertisers to reveal some very interesting habits of their website visitors and make changes to drastically increase profits.
We have access to this BETA system and will be adding examples of tests that we have been performing to Beating Adwords very soon. Remember, if you get a copy Beating Adwords you will get these updates as soon as we add them (these are going to give marketers some amazing insight into customer buying habits)!
Another Google SLAP...Nah
